We are seeking a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys administration, customer service, sales support, and working in a fast-paced educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support across various departments, with a particular focus on CPD course sales and learner support.
Key duties include:
- Responding to enquiries from prospective and existing learners via telephone, email, and online platforms.
- Promoting and selling CPD courses and training programmes to individuals and organisations.
- Conducting follow-up calls with prospective learners to discuss course options and enrolment opportunities.
- Providing support to learners throughout their learning journey.
- Handling incoming support calls and resolving learner queries efficiently and professionally.
- Assisting with learner registration, enrolment, and record management.
- Maintaining accurate learner records and updating internal databases.
- Supporting the admissions and compliance processes.
- Preparing reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation.
- Assisting with social media enquiries and marketing campaigns where required.
- Liaising with awarding organisations, tutors, assessors, and learners.
- Supporting quality assurance and customer service initiatives.
- Undertaking general office administration and other duties as required.
Essential Requirements
- Proven sales experience is essential, ideally within a customer-facing environment, with a track record of achieving targets and building client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong telephone manner and confidence in speaking with learners, clients, and prospective customers.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working within an education, training, or college environment.
- Experience in sales, telesales, or learner recruitment.
- Knowledge of CPD, vocational qualifications, or professional training programmes.
- Familiarity with CRM or learner management systems.
- Experience handling learner support enquiries.
