Summary
"Building / Land maintenance labourer" is a vital role based in North Rauceby, Sleaford. This position supports our mission by ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our outdoor spaces and facilities, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for our customers.
Although this is listed as a temporary position it could quite easily become a permanent position for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance to keep outdoor areas well-kept and safe.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment to carry out maintenance tasks.
- Operate machinery such as excavators when required for land development or clearing.
- Assist with irrigation setup and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas.
- Conduct general building and land upkeep activities to support the company's outdoor environment.
- Follow safety protocols when handling tools and machinery.
- Support team members in construction or horticultural projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in land or outdoor maintenance work.
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or landscaping practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and mowers.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour indoors and outdoors.
- Understanding of safety procedures related to land maintenance..
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid UK driving license is an advantage.
