Cantref is a family-run tourist attraction nestled in the breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park. Our farm offers a range of activities including a Farm Park, Riding Centre, VIP animal experiences. The campsite boasts stunning views of the main peaks of the Brecon Beacons, providing guests with a unique and memorable experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual or couple to join our team as Campsite Wardens. The role involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of our campsite and facilities. Our Camp Wardens rotate between warden duties and working in our Farm Park to keep the work varied and ensure all departments are covered at all times. We are particularly looking for wardens with catering experience who can cook in our Farm Park cafe.
Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance of the campsite grounds
- Checking guests in and providing excellent customer service throughout their stay.
- Cleaning and maintaining the shower block, holiday cottages, and glamping accommodations
- Conducting changeovers for holiday cottages and glamping accommodations
- Cleaning and maintaining hot tubs
- Assisting with general maintenance tasks around the campsite and farm park
- Help supervise attractions such as the Sledge Ride and Swamp Boat Ride and assist with activities in the on-site Farm Park
- Help in other areas of the Farm Park e.g. Cook, Cafe Staff, Reception, Vip Animal Experiences or Tractor & Trailer Rides
- Assisting with Pizza evenings or Curry Nights one to two nights per week during school holidays.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical fitness for outdoor tasks and manual labour
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Catering Skills are preferred but not essential
- Due to being on call several evenings a week this is a live in position. You will need your own mobile home / caravan.

- Wages paid hourly once a fortnight. £12.71 per hour with rolled up holiday pay bringing it up to £14.24 per hour.
