As an experienced Chef will play a pivotal role in menu development, staff management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation to uphold quality standards.
- Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, considering seasonal ingredients and current trends.
- Manage food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team environment.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Maintain inventory levels by ordering supplies and managing stock control effectively.
- Train new staff members on kitchen procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices to meet regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Experienced Chef or Head Chef within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive culinary knowledge with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Demonstrable supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, motivation, and high performance.
- Experience in menu development, cost control, and inventory management is highly desirable.
- Previous restaurant experience is essential; hospitality background will be advantageous.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
