About Us
At Guildhall Feoffment Preschool and Nursery, we believe childhood should be magical. We’re a warm, welcoming, and creative setting where curiosity leads the way and every child is celebrated. We sing, we dance, we play, we learn – and we do it all with kindness, joy and a lot of fun.
We are a charity run setting, offering funded spaces for children aged 9 months to 4 years old. We have four rooms across the age groups and are continuing to expand with demand. We are open 800-1800 Monday to Friday 51 weeks of the year. We are located in the town center of the beautiful Bury St Edmund’s and are privileged to have Abbey gardens just on our doorstep. The natural surroundings that we find ourselves in enables us to enjoy regular walks, and outdoor learning as well as Forest school sessions.
The children also enjoy extra curriculum activities from outside providers such as Mini Athletics and weekly Music sessions.
We aim for all children to feel valued, respected and supported in a positive friendly community.
The Role
We’re on the lookout for a brilliant Early Years Practitioner to join our fun-loving team as we continue to expand. You’ll be helping to create a safe, stimulating and exciting environment where little minds can explore, grow, and flourish.
You’ll:
- Plan and deliver imaginative activities that support learning through play
- Work as part of a large, friendly and supportive team
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

You are:
- Childcare qualified or very keen to learn
- Bursting with enthusiasm and ideas
- Patient, nurturing, and full of fun
- A great communicator with a team spirit and a big heart
