About the Opportunity
NRG Executive is delighted to be supporting NHS Fleet Solutions with the appointment of an Account Development Manager.
Having partnered with NHS Fleet Solutions on a number of successful appointments across the organisation, we have developed a strong understanding of both the business and the calibre of people who thrive within it.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading providers of salary sacrifice vehicle schemes, supporting hundreds of public sector and not-for-profit organisations across the country. NHS Fleet Solutions has earned an outstanding reputation for customer service, innovation and long-term client relationships, combining commercial success with a clear social purpose by reinvesting profits back into frontline patient care.
As part of an experienced and highly regarded commercial team, you'll play an important role in supporting existing client relationships, helping organisations maximise the value of their partnership whilst contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
The Role
The NHS Fleet Solutions team is responsible for generating valuable non-core income that is reinvested into patient care. Operating within the competitive salary sacrifice marketplace, the business continues to grow across the NHS and wider public sector, supported by a collaborative team committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Reporting to the Head of Account Management, the Account Development Manager will manage a portfolio of established customer accounts, building trusted relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and ensuring they continue to receive an outstanding level of service.
Whilst this is primarily an account management role rather than a new business position, success will come from someone who enjoys developing relationships, identifying opportunities to add value and acting as a trusted adviser to their clients.
Key Responsibilities
Maximise performance across a defined portfolio of customer accounts.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
Champion the needs of clients and scheme users across the wider business.
Deliver an exceptional level of customer service and account support.
Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to strengthen client engagement.
Proactively identify opportunities to develop existing customer relationships and support business growth.
Work closely with colleagues across the commercial team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Maintain accurate records using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Monitor customer satisfaction, responding proactively to feedback where appropriate.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of developments within the salary sacrifice and employee benefits sector.
Represent NHS Fleet Solutions at customer events, exhibitions and webinars across the UK.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistently high standards of customer service.
Provide regular account updates to internal stakeholders.
Investigate and resolve customer queries, escalating where appropriate.
Additional Responsibilities
Promote NHS Fleet Solutions and its wider commercial services to both internal and external stakeholders.
Support the continued development of Northumbria Healthcare Group's commercial reputation and brand.
Develop knowledge of the wider commercial services available across the Group to identify opportunities for cross-collaboration.
Build and maintain a strong network of contacts across existing and prospective client organisations.
Research and analyse market opportunities, providing insight and supporting business development activity.
Deputise for the Head of Account Management and/or Group Sales Director when required.
Assist with the supervision of the sales and account management support team as appropriate.
