Are you a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity to support a child on their educational journey? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Bolton that is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a full-time, long-term role offering the opportunity to build a strong relationship with a pupil who requires consistent support. For the right candidate, there is the potential for the position to become permanent.
The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a pupil to provide tailored academic, social, and emotional support throughout the school day. You'll work alongside the class teacher and SEND team to implement personalised strategies that help the child engage in learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children in a primary school or educational setting
- Has experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis or with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs (desirable)
- Is calm, patient, and resilient
- Can build positive, trusting relationships with children
- Is confident working closely with teachers, parents, and the SEND team
- Can adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or has equivalent classroom experience
