After outgrowing our original little 5-chair salon, we've made a huge investment and moved into a beautiful new 16-chair salon.

We've invested heavily in creating a salon that we're genuinely proud to work in, and it looks incredible.

We have clients waiting for you.
Two of our established stylists are so busy they can no longer accept new clients and are booked months in advance.
One of our newest stylists joined us just five months ago and is already regularly fully booked and earning commission.
We attract a high number of new clients every month, and moving from 5 chairs to 16 gives us the space to take Tierney Salons to another level.

Education is part of our culture.
Our Salon Director, Jason, has 20 years' industry experience and trained at the Toni&Guy Academy in London before becoming both a L'Oréal Colour Specialist and Wella Colour Master.
He later became a Colour Director and Technical Educator for HOB Salons, teaching at their Camden academy and working on shoots, industry events and Salon International.
And he's still learning.

You'll receive a deep dive into the Tierney Salons Foundations, covering our approach to cutting, colouring, styling and client care.
You'll learn from the team around you, and they'll learn from you too.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an experienced all-round stylist who is confident with both cutting and colouring.
Ideally, you'll have:
- At least 3 years' experience as a qualified salon-floor stylist
- NVQ/SVQ Level 2 Hairdressing or equivalent
- Confidence working with a diverse clientele
- Strong cutting, colouring and styling skills
- Knowledge of current trends alongside the classics
- Great consultation and client-care skills
- The drive to build a successful, loyal clientele
You don't need to arrive knowing everything.
What matters is that you care about your craft and want to keep getting better.
Helping you become successful
We're not interested in throwing you onto the salon floor and hoping for the best.
We'll actively help you build.
We track things such as client retention and rebooking, service and retail performance, average bill and client numbers because they help us identify where you're thriving and where we can help you improve.
Yes, there are targets.
But they're there to help you build a busy column, loyal clientele and ultimately earn more money.
If something isn't working, we'll work on it with you.
A little more about us
Tierney Salons opened in 2019.
We started small.
Literally, five chairs small.
As the team, clientele and business grew, we reached the point where our original salon simply couldn't contain where we wanted to go next.
So rather than squeezing a few more chairs in and calling it a day, we went for it.
We've invested significantly in a completely new salon and expanded from 5 chairs to 16.
It's bigger, beautiful and designed to give our team an environment they can be proud to work in and our clients an experience they'll want to come back to.
But the important thing is that while the surroundings have changed, the personality hasn't.
We're still professional about what we do without being stuffy about it.
We laugh. We joke. We support each other. And we get the job done properly.

We currently work with Wella Professional colour, Davines and Label.M.

Hours
This is a full-time, permanent position, including Saturdays and one late evening.
