The Job Role:
With three function rooms, restaurant, bar and lounge we are looking for people who have bags of stamina, personality and commitment, who enjoy the fast pace of working in a busy hotel bar, restaurant and banqueting service and care about the guest journey and experience. Our front of house staff will be fully involved in supporting the management team in delivering a fantastic dining and service experience in our popular and busy four* hotel.
The Candidate:
You will need to be able to stay calm and work as part of a team during busy service times. As a team member you will need to have a positive can do attitude and be confident enough to manage yourself, duties and customer expectations. Energetic & self-motivated, suitable candidates for this position will ideally have experience in hospitality but not essential as all training will be provided.
Key Skills:
- GCSE/ equivalent or higher
- 1+ year experience in similar food and beverage industry
- Excellent presentation and fluency in spoken English is essential
- A true desire to learn about food and drink to pass this knowledge onto our guests.
- Position requires strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form, and the ability to bend, lift, and be standing or walking all day
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for hospitality with a self-driven hands on attitude
- Possess a hard working dedicated attitude with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Provide high quality customer service standards, aiming or exceed expectations at all times

Shifts: Zero hours contracts with flexibility to work various shift patterns including breakfast service, lunch, evenings and functions, seven days a week. Contracted hours considered after the initial probationary period.
