The Role & Responsibilities
As a Level 2 TA, you will work under the guidance of the class teacher and Level 3 TAs to:
- Provide vital 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Help implement tailored learning plans and structure daily activities.
- Assist with classroom management, resources, and creating an inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Qualification: Certified Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
- Experience: Some experience supporting children or young people, ideally with additional needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH).
- Skills: Empathy, patience, and great communication. (Strong candidates with transferable experience in care, youth work, or sports coaching are also welcome).
