We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. Responsibilities
- Providing customised hair cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing services to clients
- Offering expert advice on hair care and styling options tailored to individual needs
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon environment
- Managing appointment bookings efficiently at the front desk and assisting clients with scheduling
- Upselling additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Mentoring junior staff members and apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge
- Performing specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application when required
- Ensuring client satisfaction through attentive service and personalised consultations
- Managing store operations, including stock replenishment and maintaining a professional appearance of the salon
Skills
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of store management principles and retail sales techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to maximise revenue opportunities
- Mentoring abilities to support the development of junior staff or apprentices
- Organised, reliable, with a keen eye for detail in all aspects of hairdressing and salon maintenance
