A fantastic opportunity at a Birmingham College are looking for aspiring teachers who really want to support students' academic learning and personal growth and development! The role is to start late August 2026 for the new academic year.

The opportunity:
- Birmingham College
- Full-time role, Monday - Friday
- ASAP start for the 26/27 academic year
- £500 - £530 per week – term time only
- The opportunity to be part of a large graduate programme across the UK
The Role:
- Design and deliver a high-quality, engaging group tutorial programme for 16–18 students.
- Deliver a curriculum that supports personal development, wellbeing, and preparation for life beyond college.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Personal Development Speakers programme, offering advice and guidance on a range of relevant topics.
- Support students applying to higher education through the UCAS process, including guidance on personal statements and course choices.
- Collate, write, and upload high-quality references that support positive student progression.
- Provide clear and supportive guidance on Student Finance and the application process.
- Offer advice and support to students exploring apprenticeship and employment opportunities.
- Participate in key college events such as New Student Induction, UCAS Parents Evening, and Results Day workshops.
- Assist the Futures Team in collecting and reporting on intended and actual student destinations.
- Support the wider college community by acting as an exam invigilator and providing cover within the tutorial team when needed.
- Engage in regular appraisal and continuous professional development.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility.
