Class 1 Driver – ASDA Trunking
Taskmaster are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to support one of our clients, completing straightforward trunking work for ASDA.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for clean, straightforward Class 1 work with no store deliveries. The role will mainly involve depot-to-depot trunking, working with curtain-sided vehicles and completing the relevant paperwork.

£22.00 Monday to Friday
Weekends
£24.00 Saturday
£26.00 Sunday

8 hours minimum guaranteed

ASDA Trunking
The work is mainly depot-to-depot trunking and is straightforward Class 1 driving work. Drivers will be required to use curtain-sided vehicles, follow planned routes and delivery times, complete relevant paperwork and communicate professionally with transport teams.
Due to insurance purposes, we require you to have held your licence for a minimum of 2 years, have been driving within that time, and be able to prove this to the client.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Category C+E (Class 1) entitlement
- Minimum of 2 years Class 1 experience
- Confident using curtain-sided vehicles
- Previous trunking experience preferred
- Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card)
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence; DR, DD, IN or TT endorsements are NOT accepted
- Hold a full CPC
- Be polite and professional
- Be reliable and flexible with start times
- Good communication skills
