PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – TIMBER MANUFACTURING
Wakefield Factory
We are looking for hardworking, reliable and punctual individuals to join our busy manufacturing team at our Wakefield factory.
The Role
- You will be involved in the manufacture of a range of engineered timber products, including:- Roof Trusses
- Floor Joists
- Timber Frame Panels
- Floor Cassettes
The role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as part of an experienced production team.
Duties will include:
- Manufacturing and assembling timber components
- Operating pneumatic, electric and hydraulic saws
- Using a variety of hand and power tools
- Operating pressing and manufacturing machinery
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets
We're looking for someone who is:
- Hardworking and reliable
- Punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
- Previous manufacturing, timber or construction experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
