What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll own and grow the social presence across Wha Gwan and our sister brands.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing engaging social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Filming, editing and publishing short-form video content.
- Developing monthly content calendars.
- Creating reels, stories and graphics that reflect our Caribbean identity.
- Capturing content at festivals, events, activations and product launches.
- Managing community engagement by replying to comments and messages.
- Working with influencers and content creators.
- Identifying trends and turning them into brand-relevant content.
- Monitoring analytics and reporting on performance.
- Brainstorming campaign ideas that increase awareness, engagement and sales.
- Supporting product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborating with photographers, designers and the wider team.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has at least 2 year’s experience managing social media for a brand.
- Has excellent knowledge of Instagram and TikTok.
- Can confidently film and edit content using common software.
- Has a strong eye for branding, photography and visual storytelling.
- Understands social media trends and platform algorithms.
- Is creative, proactive and full of ideas.
- Can work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Has excellent written communication skills.
- Holds a full UK driving licence (preferred).
Bonus Points If You
- Have worked within FMCG, food & drink or lifestyle brands.
- Have photography or graphic design skills.
