Duties
- Coordinate daily transportation schedules using transportation management systems to ensure smooth delivery operations
- Collaborate with 3PL providers, carriers, and internal teams to plan routes and resolve logistical issues promptly
- Manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy in data entry and compliance with company policies
- Tracking shipments, and updating inventory records
- Monitor shipment statuses, analyze transportation data, and generate reports to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer via phone etiquette and professional correspondence
- Oversee shipping & receiving activities, ensuring proper handling of goods and adherence to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience with transportation management systems and supply chain processes
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including shipping & receiving procedures
- Familiarity with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and related workflows
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret transportation data and optimize routes or processes
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners
- Attention to detail in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism through phone etiquette and typing accuracy
