Pembroke & Bull Contracts Ltd are seeking experienced Painter & Decorators to join our team on a long-term basis. We currently have ongoing price work opportunities in Essex, with future projects planned across London and the South East.
We are looking for reliable, professional individuals who take pride in their workmanship and are seeking a long-term working relationship rather than short-term contracts. Our projects include commercial, residential, healthcare, education, office fit-outs, and industrial works.
Please note that a full UK driving licence is essential due to the locations of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Apply paints, coatings, wallcoverings, and specialist finishes to a professional standard.
- Carry out painting works using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment where required.
- Work from specifications, drawings, and site instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements on site.
- Liaise professionally with site management and fellow operatives.
- Complete works to programme while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial painting and decorating.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- CSCS Card preferred.
- Own tools and PPE required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
