Nxt Level Coaching is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and caring Wraparound Care Practitioner to join our team at George Grenville Academy.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience working with primary-aged children who is passionate about creating a safe, engaging and positive environment at the end of the school day.
You'll play an important role in delivering high-quality wraparound care, building positive relationships with children and families, and helping shape a setting where children genuinely enjoy spending time after school.
Working Hours
Start Date: September 2026
After School Wraparound Care
- Monday–Thursday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
- Friday: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Total Hours: 14 hours per week
Contract: Term-time only
About the Role
As part of our team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality wraparound care for children aged 4–11.
- Plan and lead engaging activities including sports, creative play, arts and crafts, outdoor games and themed activities.
- Help create a calm, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels safe and valued.
- Prepare and serve healthy snacks.
- Complete registers and ensure children are safely dismissed to authorised adults.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, school staff and colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour management.
- Support the daily organisation, setup and pack away of the provision.
- Work closely with the Wraparound Care Manager to continually improve the provision.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with primary-aged children in a school, childcare or wraparound setting.
- Is confident leading groups of children independently.
- Has excellent behaviour management skills.
- Is warm, approachable and able to build positive relationships quickly.
- Is reliable, organised and professional.
- Enjoys creating exciting activities that children look forward to.
- Can work well within a team while also taking initiative.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working with children aged 4–11.
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare, Playwork or Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Paediatric First Aid.
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Safeguarding Training.
(Training can be provided where required.)
