Factory based timber frame operative position available for a friendly, hardworking individual to be part of a manufacturing company forming part of a exciting growing timber frame business. A great opportunity for the right candidate to join our close knit team.
WORKSHOP
- Manufacturing of timber frame panels
- Manufacturing of ancillary items (lintels etc)
- Cutting of ply and insulation
- Maintenance of equipment
- Cleaning of workshop
- Following drawing designs
- Reporting any issues with processes
- Assistance with training new members of staff (when necessary)
- Packing and preparing panels for delivery
- Work as a team member
YARD & DELIVERY
- Maintenance of yard space
- Assistance with unloading deliveries/lorries
- Assistance with stock take/checking quality of materials
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Manual handling
- A basic level of physical fitness
- Carpentry, joinery or other basic woodwork machining process beneficial
- Must have valid work authorisation within the UK
- All experience levels considered with on-the-job training provided
- Previous experience beneficial but not essential
STANDARD WORKING WEEK HOURS
Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday 8:00am-1:30pm
37.5 Hours per week (Full Time)
Pay competitive subject to previous experience and potential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £24,784.50 per year
