Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Branch Manager to lead a successful and well-established estate agency office in Cheltenham. This role goes beyond traditional lettings management, offering full branch-level responsibility with a strong emphasis on commercial performance, leadership, and strategic growth.
You will be responsible for driving the overall success of the lettings operation within the branch, ensuring profitability, increasing market share, and delivering exceptional service standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead from the front, develop your team, and play a key role in shaping the direction and performance of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the lettings & sales function within the branch, including revenue, profitability, and market share
- Lead, manage, and inspire the team to achieve and exceed individual and branch targets
- Drive new business generation, securing instructions and expanding the property portfolio
- Conduct rental valuations and convert opportunities into listings
- Oversee the entire lettings journey from instruction through to move-in
- Monitor branch performance against KPIs and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Deliver high levels of customer service to both landlords and tenants
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular training and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with all relevant lettings legislation and company procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, investors, and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior management to support wider branch and company objectives
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within residential lettings, including time in a senior or management role
- Proven track record of winning new business and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team
- Excellent valuation and listing skills
- Commercially driven with a strategic mindset
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
Working Hours
- Full-time, 5 days per week
- Saturdays required (with a day off in lieu)
