Warehouse Supervisor – Birmingham (Mothership Hub)
We're launching a new rapid delivery operation out of Birmingham (B24) and are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of the depot's day-to-day running.
The role
You'll be the mothership host - responsible for the smooth running of the depot from open to close. While the role carries sortation duties, a well-managed team means you'll spend most of your time supervising rather than sorting. Core responsibilities:
- Overseeing a team of 10–15 warehouse operatives across two shifts
- Managing the rota and ensuring shifts are covered
- First point of contact for escalations on the floor
- Driving sortation accuracy, on-time dispatch, and a clean, safe working environment
- Holding the team to standard and developing performance
Shift pattern
The depot runs two shifts, seven days a week:
- Early: 06:00 – 14:00 (4 operatives)
- Late: 16:00 – 23:00 (4 operatives)
Your specific hours will be agreed at offer stage, with the expectation that you'll have visibility across both shifts.
What we're looking for
- Previous supervisory experience in a parcel, courier, or fast-moving warehouse environment
- Confident managing people, rotas, and escalations under time pressure
- Comfortable working to KPIs and reporting up
- Hands-on attitude — happy to step onto the sort line when needed
- Right to work in the UK
- Driving licence, experience driving a van
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
