Landmarks operates from several sites across; Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire, with our main site located in Eckington, S21 4EF.

Our staff are required to work on a range of different sites, including; college campuses, employer’s premises or communities local to your learners home - therefore willingness to travel is essential. There may be a requirement to transport learners in your own car, insurance implications are reimbursed. Mileage and expenses are provided for travel during the working day.
Job Purpose:
To plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and safe sports sessions for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The postholder will design and adapt activities to meet learners' individual needs, abilities and interests, supporting them to develop physical wellbeing, confidence, teamwork, independence and healthy lifestyles. Sessions may include fitness activities, team games, outdoor sports, inclusive physical education and personal development through sport.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality sports, fitness and wellbeing sessions that are engaging, inclusive and meet the individual needs of learners.
· Adapt activities to accommodate a range of physical, communication, learning and emotional needs, ensuring all learners can participate safely and successfully.
· Promote positive participation, confidence, independence and teamwork through sport and physical activity.
· Encourage learners to develop healthy lifestyles, improve fitness and achieve personal goals.
· Maintain a safe learning environment by following health and safety procedures, carrying out risk assessments where required, and ensuring equipment is used appropriately.
· Support positive behaviour management in line with College policies.
· Work collaboratively with Tutors, Learning Support Assistants and other colleagues to ensure learners receive consistent support.
· Monitor learner engagement and progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
· Maintain appropriate records as required.
· Comply with all College policies and procedures, including safeguarding, equality, health and safety, GDPR and professional conduct.
· Undertake mandatory training and attend meetings as required.
