This is an exciting opportunity to join our Hospitality and Food team. We are currently recruiting for two Lecturer positions within our Catering and Hospitality department.
With a strong emphasis on employer engagement and industry-led learning, we are seeking enthusiastic, dynamic lecturers with a background in the Hospitality and Food industry. Relevant commercial experience within professional kitchens or hospitality operations is highly desirable.
You will be a motivated and student-centred individual who is passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences and supporting learners to achieve their full potential. You will teach and support students studying Entry Level through to Level 3 Professional Cookery, alongside Level 2 and Level 3 Patisserie, Confectionery and Bakery programmes.
Ideally, you will be competent in both culinary skills and patisserie, enabling you to deliver across a broad curriculum and support learners in developing the technical, professional and employability skills required for the hospitality industry.
You will hold a relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or above. If you are new to teaching within the Further Education sector, we will provide full support to help you achieve Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
For more details, please take a look at the role description. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.
