We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Refuse Driver/Loader . The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently when required, possess excellent driving skills, and be physically fit.
As a Refuse, REL, Trade, Driver/Loader, your responsibilities will encompass, but are not confined to:
- Operating LGV Category C vehicles in a safe manner.
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections.
- Always endeavour to complete the collection service of refuse bins of various sizes.
- Use of tablet device to report completion of collection.
- Report and record via the tablet device (or via mobile phone) any issues hindering service completion as a priority to your Trade waste Co-ordinator.
- Support other drivers as called upon by your Trade waste Co-ordinator.
- Always promote a professional company image.
- Ensure compliance with company policy / procedures.
- Full adherence to the highway code.
About You:
- Possession of an HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C).
- Holding a valid in date Driver CPC card and Digi card.
- Demonstrated HGV Class 2 driving experience.(Rear steer experience advantageous)
- While not mandatory, prior experience in the waste industry is advantageous.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour depending on experience in the waste industry
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week

Essential
- Category C licence as a minimum

- Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the general public

- Valid Class 2 licence
- Full CPC (Drivers Qualification Card)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Great Time Management
- Fluent English Speaking
- Use In Cab Technology
- Excellent rate of pay – dependent on experience.
