Wiggles & Giggles Day Nursery and After School is a privately owned and managed Nursery in Finaghy, Belfast. We are looking to recruit an Experienced Deputy Manager with minimum Level 5 or equivalent childcare qualification.

The candidates must possess the following:
A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience in a management role.
Experience of leading and supporting teams to improve practice.
A sound knowledge of child development from birth to five years.
An understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
An understanding of a play based approach to children’s learning and development.
Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Framework and the inspection process.
An understanding of the role of the ‘Key Person’.
A sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues, parents and outside agencies
Ability to lead a team.
Desired qualifications / abilities:
Designated Officer training for safeguarding.
Up to date Paediatric First Aid Training
Full clean driving licence
Part-time/Full-time
