The Dirty Duchess is looking for a confident, organised and upbeat Bar Supervisor to join our team!
We are after someone who knows their way around a busy bar and can keep the good vibes flowing while making sure standards stay high. This is a great role for someone with solid bar experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and help deliver brilliant nights for our guests.
About the role
As Bar Supervisor, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, making sure service is smooth and drinks are made to a high standard. You will be hands-on during service, helping with everything from pouring pints and making cocktails to handling customer queries and keeping the bar looking sharp.
You will work closely with management to keep things running efficiently, while also bringing energy, personality and professionalism to every shift.
What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting the bar team during busy shifts
- Delivering friendly, confident and professional customer service
- Preparing and serving drinks to a consistently high standard
- Helping maintain a fun, welcoming and safe atmosphere
- Opening and closing the bar when required
- Handling cash, tills and basic end-of-shift procedures
- Keeping the bar clean, organised and fully stocked
- Supporting stock control, deliveries and waste management
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous bar experience, ideally in a busy venue
- A friendly, outgoing and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence dealing with customers and supporting staff
- Good knowledge of beers, spirits, cocktails and bar service
- The ability to stay calm and focused when things get busy
- A reliable, punctual and hands-on approach
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and late shifts
