Print Finishing Production Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Print Finishing Production Manager to join our busy production team. This key role involves working closely alongside the existing Account Managers and Works Manager to coordinate, schedule and manage incoming work through the production and finishing departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning workflow, overseeing production schedules, leading daily production meetings as well as managing a select number of key customer accounts , ensuring all work is completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
· Work closely with Account Managers and the Works Manager to schedule incoming jobs and manage production workflow.
· Plan and coordinate production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met.
· Lead and manage the daily production meeting, communicating priorities and resolving scheduling issues.
· Manage and develop relationships with key customer accounts, providing updates and technical support as required.
· Monitor work in progress and identify potential bottlenecks before they affect delivery dates.
· Provide technical guidance on print finishing processes and production capabilities.
· Coordinate resources effectively to maximise efficiency and productivity.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and finishing departments.
Essential Skills & Experience
· Previous experience within the print, print finishing or production environment.
· Strong technical understanding of print finishing and production processes.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Experience in production planning and scheduling.
· Ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines simultaneously.
· Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
· Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management systems.

Highly organised, proactive, customer-focused and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
