About Us
Northbridge Healthcare Staffing Ltd is a healthcare staffing agency supplying compassionate, reliable and professional Healthcare Assistants to residential care homes and nursing homes across Harrogate, Leeds, York and the surrounding areas.
We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our growing pool of agency workers.
The Role
As an Agency Healthcare Assistant, you will provide safe, high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a variety of care settings.
Assignments will be offered based on client requirements and your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality personal care and support to residents.
- Promote dignity, independence and respect at all times.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
- Support residents with mobility using safe moving and handling techniques.
- Observe, record and report changes in residents' condition.
- Follow care plans, safeguarding procedures and infection prevention policies.
- Work professionally as part of the wider care team.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- Good spoken and written English.
- A caring, compassionate and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- An Enhanced DBS (preferred but not essential).
- Mandatory healthcare training (preferred but not essential).

This is a zero-hours agency position.
