About The Online Recording Studio
The Online Recording Studio (TORS) is the world's leading remote music production studio, trusted by independent artists worldwide to develop demos and rough ideas into professional-grade tracks. Since 2015 we have delivered thousands of productions, generating tens of millions of streams, chart hits, and sync placements across Netflix and Disney productions.

We operate to a single, uncompromising standard: industry-level quality on every track, delivered with complete transparency, while artists retain full ownership and creative control of their work.
The Role
Once paired with an artist, TORS producers take full control of the production journey from initial brief to final master. You will own that process end to end: interpreting the brief, directing the production, managing the client relationship, and delivering a commercial-standard master to deadline.
Producers are expected to run several projects concurrently, so this is a demanding, standards-driven role that requires equal command of craft and process. It will suit an accomplished producer working to a professional level, on multiple projects, alongside their own, non-TORS related production work.
Trust and inspiration are key to the process. The vast majority of our customers return to rebook, as singles become EPs, and EPs become albums – we see it as a key metric of success when artists request the same producer again. As such, this is a role that rewards loyalty, professionalism, and long-term commitment.
Essential Criteria
- Proven, portfolio-backed expertise in recording and producing professional, studio-grade music, including mixing and mastering, to a release-ready standard
- Studio-grade proficiency across a range of instruments
- Demonstrated experience using task management software (ClickUp, Monday.com or equivalent) to maintain oversight and visibility across multiple concurrent projects
- A track record of meeting strict delivery deadlines with fast turnaround times.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A confident, professional, and inspiring customer-facing tone
Pay & Terms
- Up to £500 per track, paid on a freelance / self-employed basis, with producers working across multiple projects earning upwards of £38,000 per year
- Fully remote – work from anywhere with your own production setup
