We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Weekend Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant to join our amazing team here at Southern Healthcare based at The Seaton Nursing Home in Seaton, Devon.
Pay: We have an excellent pay rate of £12.90 an hour.
Working days and hours: Saturday & Sunday | 10:00am - 4:00pm
About the role:
- This is an important role in our home. You’ll help us make sure our residents have a clean, comfortable and lovely place to live, while also taking care of their personal laundry and belongings.
- Your weekend will include general cleaning and housekeeping around the home, keeping residents’ rooms and communal areas clean and comfortable, and helping with laundry, including washing, drying, folding and returning clothes to the right residents.
- But we’re looking for more than someone who simply gets through a cleaning list.
- You’ll be working in our residents’ home, so we want someone who is naturally friendly, respectful and happy to stop for a chat, share a smile or help make someone’s day a little brighter while going about their work.
- We’re looking for someone who takes pride in what they do, notices the little things and understands that kindness matters in every role within a care home.
