About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Private Chef to cook daily meals for two CEOs and the exec team (up to 8 people). This is a rare opportunity for a chef who is passionate about performance nutrition and believes healthy food should never compromise on flavour.
You will have full ownership of a fully equipped commercial kitchen and will prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks each weekday. All meals will be professionally packaged and delivered by you to the office and/or home addresses.
You will work closely with the CEO to design menus around his work commitments and structured training programme, ensuring nutrition actively supports his performance goals rather than simply fitting around them.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks Monday to Friday
- Design weekly menus that are nutritionally optimised — balanced macros, high-quality ingredients, portion-controlled — while remaining genuinely delicious and varied
- Tailor meals to the CEO's training schedule, including pre- and post-training nutrition, fuelling for endurance/hybrid training, and recovery-focused meals
- Package all meals to a professional standard (labelled, portioned, safe for transport) and deliver them to the office and home
- Coordinate delivery timings so meals arrive fresh and on schedule
- Manage all kitchen operations: ordering, supplier relationships, stock control, budgeting and waste management
- Maintain the commercial kitchen to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene (full HACCP compliance)
- Accommodate dietary requirements, allergies and preferences across the executive team
- Adjust menus and portions responsively based on feedback, changing schedules and training phases
- Track and report on food costs and kitchen spend
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience as a Private Chef, Performance Chef or Head Chef with a strong focus on healthy, nutritionally-led cooking
- Genuine, demonstrable knowledge of nutrition — macronutrients, meal timing, and cooking for training and performance
- Ability to make healthy food exceptional: big flavours, variety, and restaurant-quality execution without reliance on heavy fats, sugars or processed ingredients
- Experience with batch cooking, meal packaging and food-to-go presentation
- Highly organised and self-sufficient — able to run a kitchen single-handedly
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (minimum); strong working knowledge of HACCP
- Discreet, professional and comfortable working closely with senior executives
- Flexible and adaptable — able to respond to last-minute schedule changes
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Formal nutrition qualification (e.g. sports nutrition certification) or experience cooking for athletes
- Experience supporting clients training for endurance or hybrid fitness events (e.g. HYROX, triathlon, marathon)
- Experience in meal-prep, performance catering or private household settings
- Full UK driving licence
What's on Offer
- Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
- Monday to Friday schedule — evenings prepped in advance, weekends free (but will prep for weekends when required)
- Full creative ownership of menus within the nutritional brief
- A fully equipped commercial kitchen as your own workspace
- Direct working relationship with the CEOs and a genuine impact on their health and performance
- Autonomy over suppliers, ordering and kitchen operations
