Our Sports Sessions & Holiday Clubs give children the opportunity to develop through sports, activities & play, and we need great staff to make this possible.
As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager alongside other club staff in the safe and organised running of the club whilst supporting and engaging with all our children in a fun and enthusiatic manner!
One of your main responsibilities will to be have fun with the children! Whether delivering arts & crafts sessions, sports games, activities or play we need dedicated staff to engage with the kids and develop them during our clubs whilst ensuring a safe environment is maintained.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all activities during clubs both indoor and out depending on the schedule!
- Communicate and registration and de registration with our Site Manager if parents are looking to ‘sign in & sign out’ each day
- Build a positive relationship with all children who attend our clubs and parents who trust us with their children!
- Have awareness of any children with additional needs (Whether physical, behaviour, dietary or learning)
- Develop a thorough understanding of our activities and deliver them accordingly to children each day, directing colleagues as appropriate
- Assist with any food preparation during snack times
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & our internal policies & procedures to safeguard and protect all
- Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
Requirements
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about working with children!
- Experience working with children is preferred
- No prior convictions or issues which will affect DBS checks
- Be 100% reliable
