Company Overview
We are currently working on a site in York YO24, and are looking for an experienced Gateman/Women 3 months work for right candidate with good communication skills.
You must have a minimum of five years site experience a valid NPORS/CPCS card and your own transport.
All other training relevant to the role will be provided along with PPE.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Manage access points to construction sites, verifying credentials of personnel and vehicles.
- Coordinate with site managers to facilitate the safe movement of machinery and workers.
- Maintain accurate logs of all entries and exits.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with site regulations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, visitors, and team members.
- Assist in maintaining a secure environment on-site.
- Support other site personnel as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Gateman or similar role in construction or civil engineering environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Certifications & Training
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker or above)
- CPCS / NPORS VM

- Good understanding of construction site procedures
- Ability to follow site plans and digital models accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Site working hours 7:30-17.00
