Due to continued growth across service and fleet operations, our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Workshop Controller to join their high-performing aftersales team in Alperton, London.

The Role
Reporting to the Aftersales/Service Manager, the Workshop Controller will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of workshop activity, ensuring maximum productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and allocating work to technicians to optimise workshop efficiency
- Monitoring job progress and ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes
- Driving productivity and ensuring key performance indicators are achieved
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Liaising closely with the Service Advisor team regarding vehicle updates
- Supporting, coaching and motivating workshop staff
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and manufacturer standards
The Person
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Workshop Controller or senior workshop supervisory position
- Strong technical understanding of vehicle repair and maintenance processes
- Previous experience within a franchised dealership or high-volume workshop environment (desirable)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and drive performance within a team
- Strong customer focus and commercial awareness
