Job Title: Reactive Maintenance Plumber

Salary: £39,000 Basic + Performance Bonus Scheme (up to £5,000 per year)

About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Reactive Maintenance Plumber to join a dedicated team delivering essential maintenance services across social housing properties within Kensington & Chelsea on behalf of a large and well-established Housing Association.
This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled plumber who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, diagnosing and resolving a wide range of plumbing issues while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Repair and replace taps, toilets, sinks, baths, showers, pipework, valves, and associated plumbing systems.
- Trace and rectify leaks and blockages.
- Complete minor remedial works associated with plumbing repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
- Accurately complete job reports and paperwork using handheld devices.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach when dealing with residents.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing.
- Proven experience carrying out reactive maintenance repairs.
- Experience working within social housing, local authority, or domestic maintenance environments is desirable.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
