Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor - Hastings
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum, plus bonus, company car/car allowance, and excellent benefits.

Provide Vehicle Damage Assessor support across multiple sites in the Hastings region.

Travel between sites to provide cover during holidays, peak workloads, training, and additional operational support.

Act as a regional ambassador, promoting best practice and maintaining consistent repair standards.

Inspect and estimate accident-damaged vehicles across all makes and models.

Assess the full extent of vehicle damage, repair costs, and estimated repair times.

Identify the correct manufacturer-approved repair methods in line with industry standards.

Prepare, record, and maintain accurate electronic and manual repair estimates using Audatex.

Liaise with insurance companies to obtain repair authorisation.

Work closely with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain repair methods and ensure clear communication.

Maintain a strong understanding of Thatcham Repair Methods, BSI safety standards, insurer requirements, and manufacturer repair bulletins.

Keep up to date with the latest repair methodologies and industry developments.

Essential: Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator, Audatex experience, and a full UK manual driving licence.

Preferred: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ATA, or IMI qualification, with a strong bodyshop background.
