Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Representative based in the London Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting outbound prospecting, and booking meetings for the sales team. You will engage with finance and operations stakeholders at target accounts, research prospective customers, and collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and outreach. The role requires a data-driven approach to pipeline generation and a focus on delivering high-quality leads and seamless handoffs to Account Executives.
What you'll do
Execute targeted outbound outreach (email, phone, social) to generate meetings with mid-market and enterprise prospects.
Research and map target accounts, identify decision-makers in finance, accounting, and operations, and personalise outreach based on account context.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads against agreed criteria and maintain accurate records in the CRM to ensure reliable pipeline reporting.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Implementation teams to optimise messaging, sequences, and collateral for different buyer personas.
Manage a high-volume cadence while maintaining quality, follow up persistently, and iterate on approaches based on performance data.
Own handoffs to Account Executives, provide clear context for booked meetings, and support initial discovery where needed.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in B2B sales development, inside sales, or business development; experience in SaaS or fintech is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and to manage a high-volume outreach cadence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft concise, persuasive messages for finance and operations audiences.
Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft) and analysing activity metrics to improve results.
Self-starter who moves quickly, takes ownership, and collaborates effectively across teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a data-oriented mindset for optimising outreach and qualification criteria.
Why this role
This role offers the opportunity to shape Paraglide's go-to-market motion at an early stage. You'll work directly with Sales and Marketing leadership, influence outreach strategy, and have measurable impact on revenue growth. If you enjoy building pipeline, learning about enterprise finance workflows, and iterating quickly to improve results, we'd love to hear from you.
Location & working pattern
This is an on-site role based in the London Area. We value collaboration and expect regular presence in the office for team alignment, training, and cross-functional pairing.
How to apply
If this sounds like you, please apply with a CV and a short note describing a successful outreach sequence or a campaign you ran that generated pipeline. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and are committed to a gender-neutral, inclusive hiring process.
