Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic / Head Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet. **PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCED IS NEEDED AS YOU WILL BE WORKING ON HIGH PERFORMANCE MOTORS**
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components.
- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
- A valid driving license is needed
Skills Requirement:
- Advanced diagnostic fault-finding (electrical & mechanical systems)
- Strong understanding of modern electrical systems and wiring diagnostics
- Engine, transmission, braking, suspension and HVAC systems
- Dealer-level diagnostic software and structured testing procedures
- Fault isolation and systematic troubleshooting
- Hydraulic and mechanical component understanding (transferrable)
- High-pressure workshop productivity and time management
- Independent working and problem-solving
- Strong communication and customer-facing professionalism
