About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our busy tile showroom.
This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has a good eye for design and takes pride in providing excellent service. You will help customers choose tiles and associated products for their homes and projects, while supporting the day-to-day running of the showroom.
Previous experience in tiles, bathrooms, kitchens or interior design is desirable but not essential, as full product training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the showroom and provide a friendly, professional service.
- Understand customers' requirements and help them select suitable tiles and products.
- Provide advice on tile styles, colours, sizes, finishes and suitable applications.
- Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately.
- Follow up enquiries and potential sales.
- Assist with stock checks, deliveries and maintaining showroom displays.
- Keep the showroom clean, organised and well presented.
- Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Work towards individual and showroom sales targets.
- Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to ensure orders are processed correctly.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Keep up to date with new products, ranges and industry trends.

Experience
Essential:
- Good customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to learn product information quickly.
Desirable:
- Previous retail or showroom experience.
- Sales experience.
- Experience within tiles, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring or interiors.
- Knowledge of tile products and installation requirements.

Pay: £1,800.00-£2,500.00 per month
