About the Role
To support increasing expansion, we require a high caliber Sales Operations Manager to research, expand and manage the future opportunities pipeline.
As the Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for finding and validating medium-to-long term opportunities for the business, through online research and other tools. Working closely with the Business Development Managers, your role will be to log, track and manage a database of opportunities, and integrating the data with Salesforce CRM.
We are looking for someone preferably with a transportation, construction and/or public sector sales background. You will develop, update and take ownership of the pipeline and produce reports and forecasts for the Sales Director.
You will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of highly skilled and experienced managers and directors, be hungry for success and career progression.
Responsibilities & Duties
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
- Research suitable opportunities for the business, across multiple sectors
- Assess suitability of opportunities, and share with BDMs
- Log and track opportunities
- Maintain database of opportunities and clients, broken down by sector
- Analyse data and market trends
- Produce reports and forecasts
- Ensure Salesforce is updated with BDM correspondence

Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience in Sales Operations Management
- Familiarity with manufacturing and/or the transportation market would be an advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of the local authority market and procurement
- Strategic planning
- Data management and analysis
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce
- Strong team player with a drive to succeed
- Self-motivated and capable of quick thinking
- Strategic thinker with forecasting ability
- Familiarity with manufacturing and/or the transportation market would be an advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of the local authority market and procurement
