We are looking for an experienced Qualified Dental Nurse or one who has started Training, to join our fabulous team.
Our fully private practice is in the lovely village of Sherburn in Elmet (between Leeds and York).
Elmet Dental Care is a well-established private practice providing quality dental care for the whole family as well as offering a wide range of cosmetic treatments.
We provide a modern working environment; fully computerised, with SOE Software, digital x-rays and scanner.
The role will be anything between 2 and 5 days per week.
In addition to an excellent salary, which will depend on experience, we offer:

The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and be empathetic, kind and welcoming with a caring positive manner.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
· Working as part of a dental team to assist, have a willingness to learn and be motivated and flexible on the role.
· Assisting the dentist, hygienist or other team members through the whole patient journey
· Ensuring that all activities undertaken at the practice are in line with GDC guidelines and our policies and procedures.
· To work on reception when required, as well as some admin tasks to assist with compliance duties.
Specific Skills Required:
- Dental Nursing Qualification (or on a recognised training course)
- Positive can-do attitude
- Team player
- Have a willingness to learn and a motivated approach to continued professional development.
- Be able to remain calm, friendly and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be proactive and have a caring nature
- Have a good level of computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft office
Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent (Preferred)
- Dental Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
- GDC registration (Preferred)
