Warehouse Operative & Driver — Full Time
Mersey Raw, Bootle
We make raw dog food and we ship a lot of it. We need someone to help get it out the door and out on the road.
This is a proper hands-on job. Some days you'll be driving — full days out doing deliveries and collections. Other days you'll be in the warehouse loading, unloading, picking and packing. You need to be happy doing both.
We're not after a CV full of qualifications. We're after someone who turns up on time, gets stuck in, and does the job properly.
What you'll be doing
- Driving our van out on deliveries and collections — full days on the road when needed
- Forklift work — loading, unloading and moving pallets
- Picking and packing orders
- General warehouse work — moving stock, keeping things where they should be
- Keeping the place clean, tidy and safe
What you need
- A full driving licence — no licence, no job
- Previous forklift experience — this one's essential, you'll be on the truck from day one
- To turn up on time, every time
- To be fit enough for a physical job — lifting, moving, being on your feet
- To get things right first time. We're a food business, so mistakes cost us
- To crack on when nobody's watching, and muck in with the team when it's busy
Handy but not essential
- Previous warehouse experience in food or chilled/frozen
- Current in-date FLT certification
Hours
Monday to Friday, 07:30am – 4:00pm. Occasional weekend work when we're busy paid as overtime.
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
