Every day we recover, store, restore, and dispose of all types of vehicles. These include vehicles involved in collisions, those linked to crime and requiring forensic examination, and vehicles seized by Police for offences such as having no insurance or being unlicensed.
We also store and administer vehicles on behalf of (but not limited to) Insurance Companies, Breakdown Organisations, Local Authorities, and National Highways.
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will include assisting members of the public—primarily by email and telephone, and occasionally face‑to‑face. You will also support the processing of vehicles entering and leaving the site. The individuals you deal with may include victims of crime as well as people whose vehicles have been seized for breaches of the Road Traffic Act.
For many victims, this may be their first experience dealing with such situations, so delivering a first‑class, supportive service is essential.
Working Environment
You will need to be both mentally and physically fit. The role is based mainly in the office, but you will also work outside in the compound as required, in all weather conditions throughout the year.
If needed, you may be trained to use our specialist damage‑free vehicle‑moving equipment (including specialist forklifts). Not all vehicles have keys or are drivable, so this equipment is essential. A full UK car driving licence is required as a minimum.

Occasional Saturday morning overtime (9:00am – 12:00pm) may be required and will be arranged in advance on a rota with colleagues.
We may also consider adjusting or reducing these hours to accommodate a successful applicant who needs to work around school drop‑off or pick‑up times, making this potentially a school‑run‑friendly role.
The starting rate for this position is £13.00 per hour.
