Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 2 / 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan and implement engaging daily activities that promote children's development across social, emotional, physical, and cognitive domains
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and active listening
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Lead small group activities that support early childhood education principles and developmental milestones
- Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents during regular updates or meetings
- Uphold health and safety standards by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene practices, and adhering to safeguarding policies
- Support the onboarding and mentoring of new staff or trainees to promote team cohesion and professional growth
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Level 2/3 Qualified
- Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories and best practices in childcare
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Experience with nursery routines, child safeguarding procedures, and health & safety regulations
- Ability to drive is desirable for roles involving transportation or outdoor activities
- Previous nursery experience that showcases your ability to create engaging learning experiences for young children

Pay: £10,732.80-£27,040.00 per year
