Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and smoothies.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations while handling food and beverages.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment to uphold a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; restock as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Basic mathematical skills are required for handling transactions accurately.
