We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems. This role involves working on various plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Plumber will be responsible for maintaining efficient plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- piping systems as required for different projects.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues within plumbing systems.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out plumbing tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting as necessary when installing or repairing plumbing fixtures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while on the job site.
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
- A valid driver's licence for van.
- Familiarity with both residential and commercial plumbing systems is advantageous.
- Candidates who possess skills in heavy lifting, assembly, soldering, power tools usage, and hand tools will be highly regarded.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
