Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Club Leader to coordinate and facilitate a variety of fun, inclusive activities for our members. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities by leading engaging programs that promote social interaction, skill development, and enjoyment.
Duties
- Plan, organize, and lead a diverse range of recreational activities tailored to members’ interests and abilities
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages participation and social connection
- Support members during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Collaborate with team members and volunteers to develop new activity ideas and improve existing programs
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, activity feedback, and member progress
- Communicate effectively with members, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive experience for all
Requirements;
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and promoting their independence
- Ability to lead activities confidently while ensuring safety and inclusion
- Flexibility to adapt activities based on members’ needs and preferences
- A positive attitude combined with patience, empathy, and enthusiasm
