A short-term casual vacancy for has arisen situated approximately for 2 months in our busy Research and Innovation Office (RIO), to provide support for the delivery of internal funding schemes for research development activities.
The position will primarily be focused on supporting RVC academics and researchers in the coordination of internal funding calls, including collation of confidential applications, preparation of paperwork for committee review, and attending and minuting funding decision meetings. Additional tasks will include the drafting of feedback letters using RVC templates, and additional administrative support tasks as appropriate.
Experience of working in a similar environment within Higher Education, a funder, or similar organisation will be highly advantageous, as is the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
Previous experience of managing multiple complex administrative tasks to clear deadlines is essential, and experience of providing support in grant writing or bid development.
This role is available as a part time or full-time opportunity (minimum 3 days per week, or 21 hours).
