Screed & underfloor heating Installer
As an underfloor heating and screed installer you will be required to install and finish all aspects of domestic, commercial and industrial flooring using a plethora of materials and machinery. You will be required to travel nationwide to various sites in order to conduct your duties.
Experience is preferred, but not essential, as full training can be provided
Responsibilities:
- Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
- Smooth. finish or polish freshly poured cement, screed or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools.
- Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection.
- Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring, using abrasive tools or machines.
- Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Installation of wet system underfloor heating.
