We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Staff/Supervisor to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards and customer preferences
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Supervise and support bar staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper rotation of products
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices
- Assist in organising special events or promotions within the venue
- Monitor cash handling procedures and process transactions accurately
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality or bar service, ideally within a busy restaurant or pub environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high service standards
- Competence in basic maths for cash handling and stock management
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
